RPL Weddings is proud to be taking part in a Wedding Showcase at The Western Club next Thursday, 13th October 2011 – and you’re invited!
The exclusive event, at 32 Royal Exchange Square from 6:30 to 9:30pm, will give you the chance to explore The Western Club with drinks and canapes, talk with selected suppliers about your wedding, and enjoy an evening of entertainment by The Unkowns (a remarkable well-known local band!).
The beautiful Make Believe Events will be there, as will Alan P Fulton who will talk you through custom-made jewellery; Andy Forman will inspire you with his wedding photography, and Iain Melvin will give it a Scottish touch with piping services.

It was a flurry of white – but not the Christmassy kind!
Given the old firm game on Sunday, the SECC Wedding Show became a haven for brides-to-be….and it was huuuuge this time around. The show expanded to take over two halls at the SECC, with all sorts of wonderful sparkly things, beautifully crafted stationery, and all manner of cakey goodness!
We met lots of lovely couples and had loads of fun talking about all things wedding – and we have some lovely samples on our updated show discs – watching Penny’s beaming smile through her wedding vows is wonderful, whether you’ve seen it once or one hundred times!
As always, though, we will extend our show offers to anyone who would like to book to come into see us before the end of the month – it will save you almost £200 on the Bronze and Silver packages and 10% off the Gold and Platinum packages. We can also make times out with usual business hours so if you have any questions, want to see more examples, or we can help in any way, please get in touch!

The Wedding Show is nearly here – two whole days of shiny things, of brides-to-be, of grooms doing a double-take at Stephen Davis’ wedding sample, of talking to lots of lovely people and being surrounded by beautiful things!
We’re about to close up the office for the afternoon and go and get ready for it – we’re on Stand 327D this year, so come say hello and see what offers we’re doing!

Hi everyone
We have had a wonderfully busy year with weddings so far – we’ve been booked out on several weekends and even days during the week!
We always take as much care with your wedding DVDs as we would want taken with our own – we know this is your day and your memories! – so we always put as much care into our DVDs as you would expect from a specialist in our industry.
Unfortunately, however, due to a death in the family that affects a few members of the team, there will be a slight delay in delivering some of our most recent wedding DVDs. We ask for your patience and we’ll keep you up to date with the progress of your DVDs; they won’t be too much later but we won’t compromise on the quality of the DVD you receive so there is a slight backlog.
We do thank you for understanding.

With the SECC Wedding Show coming up next week and a fundraising event for our sister company, the RPL team are run off our feet! Fortunately, in a good way!
We’re looking forward to the excitement of the Show – we have a new staff member who will be adding her smile to the RPL stand, so come along and introduce yourselves!
And, if you’re looking for something outdoorsy and active this Sunday, come along for a Barbeque! The more the merrier, and you can see some loony swimmers doing an 8 mile swim in Loch Lomond – not something you see every day!

This came in from one our wedding couples….we love starting the morning like this!
Hi RPL Team
Well. We were intending to just watch the highlight clip last night, but couldn’t resist watching the rest of it after we’d seen that, & we stayed up waaay too late & watched it all.
It was fantastic, we both loved it! It was 10 times better than the photos. The music was positioned perfectly (really glad I discovered that Ludovico Einaudi tune before I emailed you cos it went great with the footage) & the cutting together of the sequences & the slow motion bits made it all flow really well. We both had a bit of trepidation about how we would come across on film, but we couldn’t be happier with the results. The funny bits at the end were brilliant as well, that was just the kind of stuff I was looking for.
I can’t believe we nearly didn’t have a video! What a loss!

This weekend is a huge one for RPL Weddings – we’ve been completely booked out for some time (there are a couple of weekends like that this year!) but this weekend sees the team in Glasgow, in Stirling, in Ayrshire and all over this wonderful country at some gorgeous venues. Today, we’ve fully booked out two more days in our calendar.
We now have a number of days this year that are completely booked out – it’s going to be an exciting year!
We also opened today with some notes from some of our couples:

“Just finished watching the DVD and it is great. No complaints at all, and I’m really pleased I asked you for the “outtakes” because they are hilarious, especially the people laughing when trying to do the video messages and having to do a retake! No changes to anything at all, can’t fault it. Many thanks, outstanding job.” (Patrick & Sarah)
